We’re looking for responsible, enthusiastic, and spirited individuals who can serve as role models, mentors, and coaches at camp next summer.

Cabin Counselors

Cabin Counselors live, eat, play, dance, sing, and supervise 8-12 campers throughout the summer. They keep close tabs on bunk cleanliness, campers’ personal hygiene, and mealtime habits to ensure the health and happiness of the kids in their care for seven weeks. To be a cabin counselor, you must possess the following qualities: patience, fairness, playfulness, willingness to participate, compassion, and great listening skills. Camp counselors can have a profound impact on the campers they lead. It is a position that demands incredible responsibility and care, and you’ll be on call 24/7. But it’s also one of the most rewarding experiences you’ll ever have. Prior experience working with children is a plus!

Specialty Counselors

Specialty Counselors live and eat with a bunk and share many of the cabin counselors’ responsibilities. Additionally these staff members work in a specialty area around camp. An aptitude for the particular specialty area is a must and past experience teaching and/or coaching children in this area is a bonus.

Specialty areas include:

  • Athletics: Softball, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Hockey, Lacrosse
  • Waterfront: Swim Instructors—WSIs and Lifeguards
  • Arts & Crafts: Ceramics, Painting, Drawing, Tie-Dye and T-Shirt Design, Woodworking, Sewing
  • Outdoor Adventure: Camp Outs, Ropes Course, Quads, and Mountain Biking
  • Creative Arts: Theatre, Dance, Rock Band, Media Arts/Video-making, Photography
  • Fitness: Gymnastics, Aerobics, Dance, Zumba, Yoga

Support Staff

Support Staff work behind the scenes to ensure that camp is running smoothly. These staff members live in their own quarters with other support staff and are encouraged to participate in camp life during their down time.

Support Staff areas include:

  • Maintenance/Security
  • Kitchen Crew
  • Housekeeping

Nurses

Nurses keep our campers safe and healthy throughout the summer.  The infirmary is staffed 24 hours a day by our medical staff which is comprised of three registered nurses, a camp Doctor and a camp mom.
