These are the final words to “Hey Say,”a song that anyone who has spent a summer “between the arches” knows by heart. Once a Color War song, “Hey Say” is now somewhat of a camp alma mater that can be heard throughout the summer—whether it be during a sing-along in the dining hall or as a bunk of campers makes its way from activity to activity during the day. The lyrics truly showcase what it means to be part of the Camp Green Lane family: We are a close-knit community bound by love, loyalty, spirit, and respect for our shared history and the many traditions that we hold dear.
“Between the arches”, a common phrase used by thousands of campers, staff, and alumni from across the country, referring to our summer home. It is a place where our commitment to your child’s safety, health, happiness, and personal growth knows no bounds. We know that choosing a camp for your child is a big decision to make and we are honored each time a new camper becomes part of our family. In keeping with that sense of family, we care for each and every one of our campers as if they were our own children.
Located an hour from Philadelphia, 90 minutes from both Baltimore and New York City, and about 2 hours from Long Island, Camp Green Lane is a place where time stands still. Whether it be for 4 or 7 magical weeks, our campers spend their days playing, learning, laughing, and making the kinds of memories and friendships that will last a lifetime!
