We know that the summers at CGL are only as excellent as our staff, which is why we take the utmost care in choosing with whom we want to work, play, and have fun each summer. With over 200 years of camping experience among our Adult staff alone, Camp Green Lane offers exemplary leadership and supervision for your child. Our Camp staff includes over 30 married upper staff members, who are all teachers in the off season, and more than 100 college-aged counselors, who are responsible for the daily safety and well-being of every camper. Camp counselors have a profound impact on the campers they lead. It is a position that demands exceptional responsibility and care, and if you are one of our counselors, you’ll be on call 24/7. But it’s also one of the most rewarding experiences you’ll ever have. Many of our staff are “homegrown,” meaning they have grown up with us as campers and return each summer to become counselors, continuing a very rich tradition here at Green Lane.
