Camp Green Lane Blog June 22

Orientation is in full swing and let me tell you, our staff this summer is amazing. Between all the meetings and fun bonding activities, we are doing all we can to get ready for the campers to arrive in just 3 days. All of the baggage has arrived and the counselors have begun to unpack and set up their cabins. The camp staff has been meeting  to discuss the new and exciting additions to the summer program in addition to teaching our new counselors some of the great Camp Green Lane traditions they will experience in the coming weeks. We’ve tried out new activities, completed swim tests and learned the best way to keep our campers safe and make sure 2016 will be the best summer yet!

While we are so happy and excited to be here, we cannot wait for the campers to arrive. Watching those buses pull into the circle brings a new level of excitement within the arches. Each cabin is counting down the hours till we stand in the circle with our cabin signs watching camp friends old and new greet each other to kick off summer 2016. Only three more days and counting!
