1, 2, 3, 4, we want Color War!

Anticipation is sky-high around camp as we impatiently wait for Color War to break!

The day began with a second consecutive Fake Break this morning. Yesterday we got one boom. Today was two. Everyone knows what happens when three booms ring out. That’s the real start of Color War, and we are on pins and needles waiting … waiting … waiting for it to break for real.

In the meantime, we had a rain-soaked day that forced us inside for a bit, but every chance we got to play outside, we took it! With anticipation of Color War so high, there’s also a feeling that we don’t have much time left in the summer, and you can see friends and bunks making the most of these moments together.

Today, you saw more friends holding hands, more tournaments being waged, and at times like shower hour, you saw some of the older campers going out for a run in the light rain, making the most of a quiet moment before Color War breaks and the summer hits an exciting crescendo.

From the youngest campers all the way up to the most senior upper staffers, the same question is on everyone’s mind:
