Camp Green Lane Blog Post August 4th

Today was our last full day of a regular schedule here at camp! The campers enjoyed a wonderful Playday with gorgeous weather between the arches!

Campers and counselors have also started working on their bunk plaques for this summer! Bunk plaques are an old tradition here at camp. Every summer each bunk gets to create their own plaque to be hung somewhere in camp for eternity! No matter how old you are, you will always be able to come back to Green Lane and see your old bunk plaques. Each plaque includes their bunk name and the names of every camper and counselor in the cabin. The campers and counselors paint them beautifully and typically include inside jokes from throughout the summer. It’s a nice keep sake and we can’t wait to see what creative ideas they come up with this summer!

Tonight we will be finishing up our division campfires for evening activities and our Upper Debs are headed out for their overnight under the stars!
