Camp Green Lane Blog Post, August 6th

Yesterday was another thrilling day of excitement as Color War continued for Day 4!

Following regular cabin activities and plenty of rallies and swims for everyone in camp, we assembled on BB1 yesterday evening for another signature event: the Amazing Race!

This was the female camper captains’ time to shine as the four girls competed in a race that included a series of riddles and clues they had to retrieve from all around camp and solve in front of their teams on BB1. This is an event the camper captains really look forward to and it was awesome to watch them solve clue after clue and complete a series of challenges that included playing a giant game of Connect Four and eventually smashing a frozen t-shirt out of a bucket of ice, putting it on and hitting a foul shot!

Congratulations to the Green Team on their Amazing Race victory! Following the race, the Greek boys took over BB1 for their anticipated basketball game under the lights. It was a great game, with White edging the Green boys for the win!

It has been an incredible tight Color War! Every day it seems the lead, just a handful of points, changes hands and going into our final two days of competition, it’s anyone’s War to win!

We’ll play all day again today and tonight is another signature event: Campfire Skits, where campers plays a role in an original skit their team performs in the Globe!
