Camp Green Lane Blog Post-February 6th
Ahhhhhh, February. A month filled with heart-shaped things, everything red, an arrow-slinging flying cherub, chocolate, and lots of love. This blog is a Valentine to our favorite place. Here are 100 things we love about Camp Green Lane, in no particular order:
- We love getting the email telling us what bunk we’re in and what bus we’re on
- We love waving goodbye to our trunks as they head up to camp
- We love seeing pictures of counselors having fun during orientation
- We love the nervous stomach butterflies we get pulling into the bus stop or getting onto the plane
- We love seeing the Arches as we pull into the Circle on the first day of camp
- We love running off the bus, right into the arms of our best friends
- We love seeing our cabin for the first time each summer
- We love grilled cheese (with or without tomatoes)
- We love sitting on Cadet lawn watching fireworks
- We love foam parties
- We love outdoor movies on the tennis court
- We love bouncing and sliding on the inflatable lake playground
- We love rocking out with Aunt Barb in Arts & Crafts
- We love cupcake cones from cooking
- We love the first dance of the summer (and the second, third and fourth!)
- We love dining hall dance parties
