Camp Green Lane Blog Post July 10th

Today was our first Inter-Camp Games of the summer–against Camp Kweebec and let me tell you Camp Green Lane rocked it! Our U14, U12 and  U10 teams participated in soccer and basketball games today.  The games were an even split, 6-6 at the end of the day but the sportsmanship that these kids showed today was amazing.. Everyone played their hearts out and really showed their CGL pride. All the games were very close and fun to watch. We’re all so proud of all the kids that participated in inter-camp today.

Today we also had our Circus Camp within a Camp! After breakfast the National Circus Project put on an amazing performance of juggling and balancing acts for the entire camp. Then those participating in the camp learned tons of new tricks and experienced what it is like to be in the circus. From balancing peacock feathers to learning to juggle the kids in the circus camp today couldn’t get enough. All in all I would say it was an amazing day here at Camp Green Lane.
