Camp Green Lane Blog Post, July 11th, 2021

After Free Play last night, the Survivor music came over the loudspeaker, signaling our second surprise event of the summer.

All campers were told to report to the Dome, where they were informed all Upper Staff members were hiding from them in places all around camp. Each division, flashlights in hand, was tasked with finding as many Upper Staff members as possible before the end of the game.

Of the 22 hidden Upper Staff members, only three weren’t caught. Uncle Marcus, Aunt Sandy and Uncle Evan evaded capture, and they’re not telling anyone their hiding spots. The Inter Boys, the youngest boys in camp, found the most people out of anyone and they took first place in the event.

Today was a sun-splashed Sunday at camp. We had a full Funday schedule of activities like a highly contested cadet boy basketball league game, bikes and BBK, kickball, hockey and soccer. We had bagels and lox for lunch, free swim in the afternoon, and a full slate of evening activities including Beat the Pro and Capture the Flag and night leagues for the Greeks.
