Camp Green Lane Blog Post-July 14th

At Camp Green Lane we never let anything stop us from having fun. So today, we woke up to rainy skies but nothing can stop us!!! Instead we had one of the best Olympic games that I have ever witnessed here at CGL! Campers and counselors alike had so much fun playing our crazy Olympic activities in the rain. Teams were sliding into home at Slip and Slide Kickball, dodging fastballs at cross fire and strategizing at human foosball. We saw lots of smiles and laughs at the sponge bucket relay and dancing during musical chairs. I love seeing how everyone in camp from the Inters to the Greeks really get into the spirit of the day. All teams fought hard for their points and the scores has been flip flopping around all day. Going into tonight’s Olympic sing the score is -Pop Music with 650 points, Rock Music with 595 points and Country Music with 495 points. Therefore, the winner of tonight’s sing, with a 150 point bonus, will win both the sing and the 2017 Olympics! We are so excited to hear their songs tonight and pick a winner.
