Camp Green Lane Blog Post July 22nd

Last night at Dinner, with everyone back from their awesome days at Dorney and Hershey, it was announced as a surprise, we were having our annual Camp Green Lane fireworks display! The dining room erupted as all the kids love fireworks and to be able to watch such a great show from Camp makes it even more special!

The sparks from the fireworks last night really made today hot hot hot! Our afternoon was filled with extra activities at both the lake and the pool. We have been making sure that everyone has been drinking lots of water to stay hydrated and ready for tomorrow’s festivities. Please make sure to stay hydrated tomorrow!

Tonight, we will come together for Friday night Services, this week led by the Inter boys. We are excited to hear their reflections on the summer so far. I think it’s great that the Inter boys are doing services because for a lot of them it is their first summer at camp. It will be interesting to hear how their friendships have grown so far and what the beginning of their Camp Green Lane story is about.

We know everyone is excited for tomorrow we will see you in the morning!
