Camp Green Lane Blog Post- July 28th

Today was an awesome day at camp full of special events. It started with our annual Triathlon. There were 40 kids who participated this year and they all did an amazing job. Our winners for each of the divisions were Ty Greenberg and Faith Cohen for the Inters divisions, Lilah Greenberg and Drew Schwartz for the Debs and Cadets and Leah Lederer and Nathan Reed for the Seniors. Congrats to the winners and everyone who participated. It’s a hard race and it’s so nice to see everyone in camp come out to support our triathletes!

This afternoon we had our Halloween celebration. The campers carved watermelons with their cabins and went on a hayride around camp. Some of the watermelons are super creative; we can’t wait to pick a winner at dinner. Tonight we will also have our Halloween dance. Everyone will come in costume hoping to win the contest and get a canteen treat. So excited to see everyone dressed up and wondering if we will be making it through this Halloween dance without 3 booms!
