Camp Green Lane Blog Post– July 28th

Last night, the Senior Boys held their annual midnight madness three on three basketball tournament.  The boys were rushed to the Dome to play and celebrated with pizza! They had a blast and were so excited to reveal the winning team. Congratulations to Will Pludo, Drew Combs and Derek Shulman! Today we ran an Anyday schedule.  Even though the temperatures were cooling, we saw many people jumping off the diving board in the pool, sliding down the inflatables in the lake and going for a quick run through the sprinkler to refresh.  During lunch the cabins who had won Spirit Award were rewarded with a pizza party! The cabins who had won inspection awards came down after their chicken nugget lunch and received an ice cream treat from the canteen.  This afternoon as I passed the lake I heard a group of Inter Girls doing a rain dance.  Minutes after, bunko was called during fifth period sending everyone back to their cabins.  As I walked around, I heard fun music and so much laughter.  When I was a camper, I looked forward to bunko and sharing that quality time inside the cabin together. 

Depending on the weather, Inter Girls and Boys will be having a night swim, Debs will be playing paper bag drama while the Cadets have Paint Night with Aunt Barb and the Senior Boys and Girls enjoy a movie under the stars.

Watch out for those booms!
