Camp Green Lane Newsletter August 12,2015

Dear Camp Families,

Today as I watched campers start to pack I really started to reflect on the summer and how little time we have left. There are lots of different special things going on around camp between birthday meal, leagues playoffs, challenge day and CGL Idol coming up. All of these events are super exciting, but they all signify one thing, that the end is coming. I think we all wish we had one more Someday, or Anday. We wish we had more time to hang out in the circle during free play or go down the lake slide one more time with our cabins. We all want more days here, but the reality is that very soon it will all be gone and we will once again be waiting to drive through the arches again. Being a member of the upper staff now, there is so much I want to say to all the campers as they enjoy there last couple days together. I want them to know that these few days are precious and all that matters is being happy together. We all waited for color war to happen and now we just wish there was more time. I know I will be making sure that everyone really lives in the moment these last few days, here’s to spending 3 more days in the arches.
