Camp Green Lane Newsletter August 2, 2015

Dear Camp Families,

As I sit on the white house porch writing this newsletter all I can think about is how perfect this moment is. I see senior boys playing whiffleball, Inter girls singing songs in the circle and Cadets playing a round of Frisbee golf. We are all taking advantage of this beautiful day in Camp Green Lane as best we can.

Each division today has been focused on finishing up some tournaments and practicing sports in preparation for the war. Color War hype is starting to build all around as guesses for when it will break are slowly crossed off the list. Will we wake up to booms tomorrow? Will it be a night break, all things I hear counselors and campers taking about all around camp. I love this anticipation. I watch senior boys and girls whisper about it to their friends, and inters get excited to see their first break. Color War hype is uniting us all as we count down the days till we get to be green and white. We can’t wait to see what happens next!
