Dear Camp Families!

A picture is worth a thousand words. That was the motto this morning during picture day! Each cabin came down to the circle and smiled for the camera on this beautiful camp day. Today is honestly a perfect day in Camp Green Lane. Seniors boys and Greeks are playing leagues, the Inter girls had their swim tests and Cadets and Debs were biking around camp all day. On top of all of this fun, the spirit in the dining hall is at an all time high. All of the divisions have been learning their cheers and today they were louder then ever. It’s really nice to see campers and counselors join together, showing their cabin and division sprit.
Today also marked the beginning of our first camp within a camp, Play by Play Sports Broadcasting camp. The campers are learning about sports broadcasting on TV and radio. They are filming ESPN shows, and will even get a chance to do some play-by-play work at the iron pig’s game on Friday. All of the campers seem to really be enjoying this experience and we look forward to being able to use our sports broadcasters later in the summer.
Tonight the Inter boys have basketball leagues while the Inter girls will be the first to try out paint night. The Cadets will be playing who’s got it and the Debs have salon night. All the seniors have a night swim and finally the Greeks have paper bag drama. As always can’t wait for tomorrow and another beautiful day at Camp Green Lane!

Yours in camping,
Aunt Jessie
