Coed Overnight Camps

Sleeping away from home…. Making new friends…. Trying new things…. Making memories that will last a lifetime…. This is what a summer at Camp Green Lane is all about! This coed overnight camp in the foothills of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains has been providing campers with a home away from home since 1926.

Camp Green Lane gives children the opportunity to experience life away from the comfort of parents and home, helping them to grow emotionally. It allows them to experience life on their terms, under the careful guidance and watchful eye of experienced staff. Campers are encouraged to actively participate in all facets of camp life and broaden their horizons by tackling new experiences with new friends.

Green Lane, a coed overnight camp, approaches camping from a practical, as well as an emotional, level. We offer instruction and play in all sports and games from basketball to tennis to volleyball and everything in between. Our activities range from art, to drama, to aquatics, to ropes courses. Campers choose part of their own camp adventure by selecting both a new sport to master and a new activity to engage in each week. The rest of their schedule is carefully structured based on gender, age, and our many years of camp experience. Along with our daily program, we offer exciting special events and out-of-camp trips to keep things fresh. We celebrate Halloween in July; have a carnival with games, rides, and prizes; host the CGL Olympic Games; have a Battle of the Divisions; put on camp shows; and so much more! Our out-of-camp trips include bowling, ice skating, Dorney Park, Hershey Park, mini golf, and movies, just to name a few. The best week of the entire summer, according to most of our campers, is Color War. Campers are split into green and white teams who engage in fierce-but-friendly competition to see who will emerge victorious.

Our top priority is the happiness, health, and safety of every camper in our care. Our infirmary is staffed round-the-clock by a doctor, 2 RNs and a “camp mom”. Grand View Hospital is just seven miles from camp should the need for extra attention arise. Our spacious dining hall is a place for our summer family to come together three times a day for delicious and nutritious meals that our campers love. We are a nut-free campus and can provide special menus for our friends with dietary restrictions.

We would love for you to visit us to see why Camp Green Lane one of the best coed overnight camps!
