Today most of us headed out to Dorney Park while our oldest Seniors and Greeks went to Hershey Park. It is always a great day filled with roller coasters, water rides and plenty of park food. I went to Hershey for the first time in 20 years and it was so much fun. The weather was picture perfect and the lines were short so everyone was able to ride the rides multiple times.

Well once again, because we missed the fireworks at the IronPigs game on July 3rd (remember the 16 inning marathon game) tonight is our annual Thursday night before Visiting Day fireworks! We will all gather around 9 o’clock on Cadet boy lawn to watch a beautiful firework display put on by Celebration Fireworks. I love seeing camp lit up over the lake with all of us “oohing” and “aahing” together. I mean really, this is our home away from home, and how often do you get fireworks in your own backyard? Awesome!

Tomorrow we have lip-sync day. The campers have all been working hard on their routines. I can’t wait to see the final result when we get home from camp. We watch the DVD over and over again while waiting for the camp DVD to come in November. Then we pop some corn, head to the couch and spend the night watching all of the memories we are making right now. Hope you had a memory filled day today too.
